After two and a half years of horrid drought, at last, the rain arrived in February, allowing for oats to be planted. When the green forage sprouted their heads, the cattle looked on in envy.
Last week the sale bulls felt privileged as they walked on down to the glistening paddock of oats, ready for feeding off. This is the only time that these young bulls have ever seen oats, at almost 2 years of age.
Glen and Kate checked on livestock today and snapped a refreshing photo of the sale bulls in the background. Love to see those beautiful smiles on these friendly faces and the quiet bulls looking so content nearby.
