Peter, Karen & Glen Weller are the face of Swanvale Herefords, a family farming business, breeding Hereford and Poll Hereford cattle through quality genetic selection.

Although formally based near Inverell NSW, Swanvale Herefords relocated and now operates on the North West Slopes between Tamworth and Gunnedah NSW.  We have also lived and operated a beef cattle operation on the Mid North Coast, in the New England and Central West regions.

As 3rd generation Hereford breeders, our primary focus for the last 25 years has been breeding commercial Hereford cattle with the introduction of stud females in 2005.  This opportunity then lead to our stud being established, with a focus on quality genetics in our sires and females to ensure genetic progression.

The Weller family work closely, with a passion to provide a sustainable future with their select stud breeding program.  Individual expertise are adopted within our business with low-stress stock handling techniques, extensive stock recording and management, and animal health practices adopted on-farm.

Swanvale Herefords values the importance of sustaining the beef cattle industry and our domestic food chain.  We also proudly sponsor and support the Hereford Youth with their events and activities annually.
